case study 1

The headquarters of a French pharmaceutical company had an obligation to package their medicines in the national languages of Eastern European countries after their accession to the EU. Their solution to this, avoiding logistical problems and production costs within their French organisation, was to export the product, with only its primary packaging, to the GS Partners repackaging unit in the Czech Republic. GS Partners created a design for the outer boxes, carried out language corrections in Czech, Polish and Hungarian, together with the consequent printing of the outer box. We also produced the division inserts and product information leaflets, together with the batch numbers and expiry date information. Following completion of the primary packaging a proportion of the product has been re-exported to Hungary and Poland. The remainder was distributed throughout the Czech republic. The French manufacturer thus avoided the unprofitable process of producing, in house, small production runs in several national packagings, together with the huge associated logistical problems. After a trial period with one product, the French company has decided to extend their portfolio of repackaged products. GS Partners now handles eighteen of their products, this number increasing year on year.

case study 2

A Czech subsidiary of a Western cosmetics company decided to organise a competition for their customers. The prizes on offer were gift sets. Each set comprised: A magazine for women, perfume testers, 3 kinds of give-aways and a discount voucher. Also as part of the completion process, there were several POS items for retailers in the field. The total volume of goods delivered to GS Partners consisted of 31 pallets. Within 10 days we had carried out all the completion procedures, distributing 600 sets throughout the Czech Republic, with a further 400 sets distributed throughout Slovakia.

case study 3

A Czech company producing vitamins changed the ingredients of some of their products. However, they still carried a large stock of outdated packaging. GS Partners produced suitably coloured adhesive labels, detailing the new product ingredients, blending with the existing obsolete packaging. These labels were then affixed to the old packaging, avoiding the cost of a complete reprint.
